THE BEER

What Goes Best With a Bloody Mary?

WISCONSIN BEER!

If there's one thing Wisconsinites love more than Bloody Marys, it's beer. Especially locally-brewed beer.

Only in Wisconsin have we combined our two loves into a tradition - A Bloody Mary with a beer chaser. Learn about that unique tradition here.

The most fascinating part of having a beer chaser is how different every beer can taste sipped with a Bloody Mary, and, additionally, how each sip of beer changes the taste of a Bloody Mary. They symbiotic relationship between the two beverages is a fascinating exploration all by itself. Do you prefer a lager or an IPA? Something bright, fresh, and lemony, or a deep dark rich ale?

Then, too, is the debate - do you drink most of the chaser and part of the Bloody, then add the beer to the rest of the Bloody? Or do you keep them separate the entire time?

Speaking of adding in the beer to the Bloody Mary, at WiscoMary Headquarters, WiscoMaryMJ and WiscoMaryChristin are also exceedingly fond of the Bloody Mary-like cocktail, the Michelada.

WiscoMary has visited only a fraction of Wisconsin-based breweries. We are always up for visiting more! Maybe you'll see us at your favorite brewery!
